Licence F *Equivalent to an English FAC without FAC rated airguns.

For members of the Federations of Shooting Sports. Life of licence 3 years. Permits holding arms of categories denominated for shooting sports; up to max 1 for shooter 3rd class, up to max 6 arms for shooter 2nd class, up to max 10 arms for shooter 1st class. The arms may only be used on approved shooting ranges. The guns must be stored unloaded in the homes of the shooters or at the club.

Licence AE - Autorización Especial (AE).

For individuals, firearms of category 6 (muzzle loaders) and category 7.4 (Flobert system pistols). Life of licence 5 years. The number of arms is without limit. The guns must only be used on approved shooting ranges. Flobert arms may only be used on specially approved ranges.

Licence L - Libro de Coleccionistas (L).

Collectors licence. For individuals, arms of categories 6a and 7a.4. Life of licence indefinite. The number of arms is without limit. The guns may not be fired.

Licence AEM - Autorización Especial de uso de armas para Menores (AEM)

Authorises the use of arms by juniors from 14 to 18 years old. The licence lasts until the 18th birthday. They may only use arms of categories 2a.2 or 3a (separate licence each class) under the supervision of a specified licence holder and only for hunting or competing in Junior class events. They may not possess an arm. This section is very detailed and careful attention must be paid as to who is the supervisor and the training to be given.
